"It is my commitment to provide clients with the highest quality of Real Estate services through integrity, trust, and professionalism. I do this by always placing the best interest of my clients, not my own, first and foremost and in return, bringing unquestionable ethics to each transaction."
My real estate career started in 2009. Yes, because of the housing crisis that hit in 2008, it was probably the worst possible time to start a career in real estate; however, through hard work and perseverance I not only survived the downturn but had great success. I received the honor of “Rookie of the Year” from my company and “Top Producer” awards many times since. The things I committed to do during those difficult times have made me a successful professional today. The keys to my success have always been and always will be trust, and integrity.
With these key elements as cornerstones of my business, I also attribute my success to my use of technology. Technology has completely changed the marketing side of the real estate business. The way to market a home today is very different than it was even a few years ago. Whether I represent a seller or a buyer, I utilize the latest technology to work for them.
If you are looking for a home or wanting to sell one, I would love the opportunity to show you how I can make a difference,
In My Spare Time
For me, there is nothing more peaceful than being on the river watching the early morning sunlight break over the horizon and the only sound that can be heard is the water rushing downstream. Being an avid fly fisherman, at moments like that the only thing I would enjoy more, is a tight line on my fly rod!
A friend introduced me to fly fishing about 15 years ago, and to this day I still can’t wait until my next trip. I have crawled in and out of canyons so steep that I would have never consider hiking them, but the fish were calling my name. I have been fishing in weather so cold that my flies froze, yet I fish on. Not rain, not snow, not wind, will stop me from casting my line if the fish are biting. If you haven’t already surmised, I love fly fishing!
What makes life great is all the unexpected things that happen to us and in turn shape the rest of our lives. I met my wife by chance while standing in line outside a venue waiting to get in to see a local band. Little did I know that night would being 25+ future years of being happily married to my soulmate. Before kids, my wife and I lived a carefree life of sailboarding every weekend at Cochiti lake. If it wasn’t Cochiti it was some other New Mexico lake in our relentless pursuit of enough wind to sail.
In more settled times, Belinda and I had two awesome daughters named Breezy and Sienna. In their younger years, it was winter sports that became our obsession. The girls learned to snowboard at a very early age and this become our new weekly adventure. Both are grown now and are loved, healthy, and happy. We are fortunate enough to have our daughters still here in Albuquerque and I truly cherish the times we can all be together.
Before Real Estate
In 1985, while still attending UNM my passion for sailboarding lead me to a career in the Action Sports Industry. I opened a retail store called The Beach Zone. For 23 years, I brought snowboards, skateboards, wakeboards, shoes, clothing, and accessories to the Albuquerque market. When I first started selling snowboards in New Mexico only one ski area in the state would allow them on the slopes!
Starting out with a modest little shop it expanded into two locations doing over $1.5 million dollars in sales. In 2008 I started flipping homes with a Realtor friend of mine in Rio Rancho and decided shortly thereafter to get my real estate license.
In 2009 I made a career change to real estate full time. I feel honored to help guide people through what is, for most, the largest purchase of their lives.
